KUHP , The Penal code of Indonesia

Was based on his contents, the law could be divided into 2, that is the private law and the public's law (C.S.T Kansil) .Private Law was the law is arranged the person's relations , where as the public's law was the law arranged relations between the country and his citizen. Criminal law was part of the public's law. Criminal law was divided into two parts, that is material criminal law and formal criminal law. Material criminal law arranged about the determination of the criminal act, the perpetrators of the criminal act, and criminal (sanctions). In Indonesia, the material criminal law regulation was arranged in [[kitab Undang-undang Hukum Pidana]] (KUHP). Formal criminal law arranged about the implementation of material criminal law. In Indonesia, the formal criminal law regulation was ratified with number UU 8 years [[1981]] about the law of criminal procedure (KUHAP). from Wikipedia
